Hornet's Varsity
Head Football Coach

Kemp Moyer

(11/14/13)  This Saturday, we head out to face Casa Grande in Petaluma in the first round of NCS play. We are looking to play our fastest, most physical, most well prepared game to date, with great spirit, heart and courage.

Football is a game of brotherhood and preparation, execution and discipline. We are thankful for the opportunity to give everything we have to play the best game we have ever played.

Thank you all who have supported the team and sent good energy this season.

Hornet's Junior Varsity
Head Football Coach

Damon Banks

(9/23/13)  This being my first post as a Hornet, I would like to say thank you to all of the staff, faculty and parents for making me feel so welcome into my new Hornet family. I also would like to thank the players for their hard work and dedication. I believe this team has shown improvement in all areas from week to week. A lot of this is credited to my great JV staff, Steve Yamasaki, Ben Anderson, Derrick Lee and John Yu. When I think about our teams heart and effort combined with a great staff, I get excited about our potential.

Friday's 27 -22 win vs. Miramonte High School was a true test of our teams will but no surprise to me, they stepped up to the challenge. This win was a collective effort of the JV and Varsity football staff. After being on the road the last two games, we can't wait to play in front of the home crowd vs. Hillsdale High this Friday, September 27 @ 4pm.

Hope to see you there.

GO HORNETS! Coach Banks.

Hornet's Frosh
Head Football Coach

Kevin McKenna

(10/23/13)  The freshman football team lost to Berkeley last week 22-14 in what was the freshmen's best game so far this year.

Adam Joo scored on a 8 yard run and on a 2pt. conversion and Bradley Anderson caught a 15-yard touchdown pass from Nic Griego for the Hornet scores.

The defense was led by Eulix Chiu and Chas Powell.

This week the freshman play at Castro Valley, Thursday at 4:30.
